Familia Films is a new independent feature film company, spearheaded by Rebecca Sharpe and Jose Hernandez in Malaga, Spain.

Our principal purpose is the development and production of low budget English and Spanish language films set in Spain, using European actors and crews.

Over the next five years, the company plans to produce three independently financed feature films, which offer strong roles to women, both behind and in front of the camera.

During recent years the international market has become more open to low budget films with strong female role-models. 

European films have led the way and proved there is a market for independent film.

We feel that the time is right and that the window of opportunity is open for independent motion pictures.
